Our Contributions So Far

Collection of Uniforms for Recreational Purposes- Completed January 2018

Before my family and I visited the Imani school, the children lacked extra clothes they could play in. Through the help of my family and community, I was able to collect over 200 uniforms, socks, cleats, etc. for the children.

Funding for Tables in the Cafeteria- Completed Feburary 2019

When I first visited the Imani school, their main multipurpose room had no tables and chairs, meaning that the kids did not have anywhere to sit or eat during meals or free time. My family donated the funds necessary to build tables and chairs so that the children no longer had to eat on the floor. The image to the left is of the new tables and chairs that were completed as a result of the donation.

Funding for New Dormitories for the Boarding Students- est. Completion Summer 2022

Currently, I am collecting donations to help fund new dormitories for the boarding children at Imani. The 400 boarding students are currently sleeping 3 children per twin bed. With the help of your donations, we will be able to start building a new dormitory for the boarding children to provide them with the rest and space they need to continue their education. Full plans and a budget were developed for this construction. To date, I have raised over 85% of the budget for this construction. I am hoping for construction to begin in the Summer of 2022.
